The following signs are exempt from the requirement to obtain a sign permit pursuant to this subchapter provided they meet the requirements of this chapter:

Address, numbers and nameplates.

(2)

Directional signs.

(3)

Farm crop identification signs.

(4)

Farm identification signs.

(5)

Government signs.

(6)

Notification signs.

(7)

Political signs.

(8)

Real estate signs.

(9)

Rummage sale signs.

(10)

Special event signs.
