ARTICLE XII

C-N Commercial Neighborhood District

§ 450-73 Uses.

[Amended 12-22-2003 by Ord. No. 1670]

All uses permitted in any residential district and subject to all controls and restrictions set forth therein.

Banks and similar community services, offices, stores and shops for conducting of retail business, grocery, hardware, drugstore, novelty shop and restaurant.

Shops for personal services, barbershops, beauty parlors.

§ 450-74 Yards.

Front yard: minimum of 50 feet.

Rear yard: minimum of 35 feet.

Side yard: two in number, totaling 25 feet, neither of which shall be less than 10 feet.

§ 450-75 Lot coverage.

The building area shall not exceed 30% of the lot area.

§ 450-76 Building height.

No structure shall exceed two stories or 25 feet in height.

§ 450-77 Signs.

[Amended at time of adoption of Code revisions (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. II)]

Signs will be permitted as specified under Chapter 350, Signs and Billboards.

§ 450-78 Off-street parking.

Off-street parking shall be provided as set forth in Article IV of this chapter for similar uses.

§ 450-79 Prohibited uses.

All industrial uses.

Uses listed under Article XI, § 450-67F, G, H, I, J and K; however, when necessary, an electric substation, gas meter house, bus passenger station and telephone central office as permitted in any R Residential District may be permitted.

All other prohibited uses under this chapter or any other ordinance of the City of DuBois.
