The existing Zoning Ordinance of the Borough, being Edgeworth Zoning Ordinance No. 166, as amended, is hereby superseded by this amendment and restatement of Ordinance No. 166; provided, however, that if this chapter is held to be ineffective or invalid by reason of some procedural irregularity in or impediment to its passage, the superseding effect of this chapter shall not be applicable, in which event, the aforesaid Zoning Ordinance will have continued to remain in full force and effect.

The effective date of this chapter shall be the date on which the Borough has formally adopted this chapter, subject to § 130-4 herein.
