Procedure. The Town Board may, from time to time, on its own motion or on petition may amend, supplement, change or repeal the regulations and provisions of this chapter. No such amendment shall become effective until after a public hearing is held.

Public hearing. The Town Board shall fix the time and place of public hearing on such amendment and cause notice to be given by publishing the time and place of such hearing in a newspaper of general circulation in the Town at least 10 days prior to the date of such public hearing.

Referral to Planning Board. Every proposed amendment shall be referred to the Planning Board for an advisory report thereon prior to adoption by the Town Board.

Referral to County Planning Commissioner. When required by law, proposed amendments of this chapter shall be referred to the County Planning Commissioner for review and recommendation.
