CHAPTER 19
SCHOOL TRANSITION FEES
9-19-1: REQUIRED:
The Village of Grant Park requires the payment of a school transition fee or provisions for same in restrictive covenants as a condition precedent to approval of subdivision plats and petitions for annexation of any lands within its jurisdiction. (Ord. 2014-13, 11-17-2014; amd. Ord. O-9-17-3, 9-18-2017)
9-19-2: FEES:
School transition fees shall be paid in accordance with the following:

Starting in 2015, the school transition fees shall be increased each year by the percentage increase in the consumer price index. (Ord. O-4-16-2, 4-4-2016; amd. Ord. O-9-17-3, 9-18-2017)
9-19-3: FUND ACCOUNT:
The school transition fees are to be collected and deposited into the Village General Fund into an internal account entitled "school transition fees". All school transition fees collected shall be paid over to Grant Park Community Unit School District 6 according to such intergovernmental agreement(s) as are in effect from time to time.
