The provisions of this ordinance shall apply to the unincorporated areas of Halifax County as specifically identified and delineated on the zoning map entitled "The Official Zoning Map of Halifax County, North Carolina." In no instance shall this ordinance apply to any area which is not duly established and not identified as a zoning area, as shown on the official zoning map of Halifax County, North Carolina. Said map and all explanatory matter thereon accompanies and is hereby made a part of this ordinance; the ordinance shall be on file in the office of the county commissioners.

This ordinance shall in no way regulate, restrict, prohibit, or otherwise deter any bona fide farm and its related uses, except that any use of such property for nonfarm purposes shall be subject to such regulations.
