DISTRICT C, LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT
This article applies to the C district.

In the C district, no building or land shall be used and no building shall be erected or structurally altered unless otherwise provided for in this chapter, except for one or more of the following uses:
(1)
Churches.
(2)
Retail business/offices.
(3)
Establishments where food or drinks, other than intoxicating liquors, are sold to the public for consumption upon the premises.
(4)
Establishments selling packaged intoxicating and nonintoxicating liquors and beer not to be consumed on the premises.
(5)
Multiple-family residential, combined with any of the commercial uses in a single multiuse structure.
(6)
Barbershops.
(7)
Beauty parlors.
(8)
Tailoring, cleaning and dyeing establishments.
(9)
Parking lots.
(10)
Signs, provided they are attached flat to the front wall of a business building and do not exceed three feet in height.

Elementary schools, high schools, and colleges.
(12)
Museums, parks, libraries, playgrounds, community centers, and public buildings.
(13)
Hospitals and clinics.
(14)
Clubs and lodge halls.
(15)
Parking garages.
(16)
Golf courses.
(17)
Farming, truck gardening, orchards, nurseries and greenhouses.

Financial institution.
(19)
Medical marijuana dispensary facility; subject to the setback provisions referenced in section 32-1.

Height regulations are the same as the height regulations in the adjoining district having the greatest restrictions.

(a)
Front yards. The front yard regulations are the same as the front yard regulations in the adjoining district having the greatest restrictions.
(b)
Side yards. The side yard regulations are the same as the side yard regulations in the adjoining district having the greatest restrictions.
(c)
Rear yards. The rear yard regulations are the same as the rear yard regulations in the adjoining district having the greatest restrictions.
(d)
Lot area. The lot area per family regulations are the same as the lot area per family regulations in the adjoining district having the greatest restrictions, but where business and dwelling uses are combined on the same lot, the area required per family shall be in addition to the area used for business.

Lot width. The width of lot and width of streets regulations are the same as the width of lot and width of streets regulations in the adjoining district having the greatest restrictions.
