There is created the position of Zoning Administrator who shall be appointed as provided by the Board of Supervisors. The Administrator may also hold another office in the County.

The Zoning Administrator shall have all necessary authority on behalf of the governing body to administer and enforce the Zoning Ordinance, including the ordering in writing of any condition found in violation of this chapter and the bringing of any legal actions to insure compliance, including injunction, abatement or other appropriate actions or proceedings.

Any zoning applicant or any other person who is aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Administrator may petition the Board of Zoning Appeals for review of the decision of the Zoning Administrator. All such petitions for review shall be filed with the Zoning Administrator and County Administrator within thirty (30) days from the date of the decision for which review is sought, and such petition shall specify the grounds upon which the petition is aggrieved.
