ARTICLE IV

SUPPLEMENTARY DISTRICT REGULATIONS

Sec. 78-252.- Requirements for off-street parking for businesses.

Businesses shall comply with the off-street parking regulations as follows:

(1)

All-weather surfaces should be installed and should be graded and drained in such a manner that there will be no free flow of water onto adjacent properties.

(2)

The surface and drainage provisions must be approved by the city engineer.

(3)

All lighting used to illuminate off-street parking areas shall be arranged so as to direct or shield the light away from the adjoining premises in any residential district.

Sec. 78-253. - Requirements for off-street parking for churches.

Churches shall comply with the off-street regulations as follows:

(1)

All-weather surfaces should be installed and should be graded and drained in such a manner that there will be no free flow of water onto adjacent properties.

(2)

The surface and drainage provisions must be approved by the city engineer.

(3)

All lighting used to illuminate off-street parking areas shall be arranged so as to direct or shield the light away from the adjoining premises in any residential district.

(4)

A minimum of three spaces for each 200 square feet of new floor area or one-fifth space per sanctuary seat (including ministers and choir), whichever produces the greater number of spaces, shall be provided.

(5)

Church parking areas shall be located within the platted lot containing all church facilities.
