OFF-STREET PARKING

§ 152.150 OFF-STREET PARKING REQUIRED.

   At the time any commercial business or enterprise, or public meeting space is erected or enlarged or increased in capacity or any commercial business or enterprise, or public meeting space is established, there shall be provided off-street parking spaces for automobiles adjacent to the commercial business or enterprise, public meeting space, or use in accordance with the following requirements.

§ 152.151 NUMBER OF PARKING SPACES.

   The number of off-street parking spaces required shall be as follows:
 
Churches or meeting halls
1 parking stall for each 3 seats of maximum seating capacity
Commercial business or enterprise
As determined by Town Planning Commission, based on nearest comparable standards

§ 152.152 ACCESS REQUIREMENTS.

   Adequate ingress and egress to and from all commercial businesses or enterprises shall be provided as follows.
   (A)   Not more than two driveways shall be used for each 100 feet or fraction thereof of building frontage.
   (B)   No two of said driveways shall be closer to each other than 12 feet and no driveway shall be closer to a side property line than three feet.
   (C)   No driveway shall be closer than 25 feet from any intersection at any corner as measured along the property line.

§ 152.153 MAINTENANCE OF PARKING LOTS.

   (A)   Surfacing. Each off-street parking lot shall be surfaced with a surface adequate in relation to location and use. Parking lots serving a high volume of traffic shall be surfaced in such a way to provide a dustless surface. The parking area shall be graded so as to dispose of all surface water in a manner approved by the town.
   (B)   Landscaping. Each parking lot shall be adequately landscaped and permanently maintained.
   (C)   Lighting. Lighting used to illuminate any parking lot shall be arranged to reflect the light away from adjoining premises and away from street traffic.
