A historic zoned district recognizes property that have been officially designated by ordinance as "H, Historic" as an overlay district. This "H" designation is defined by chapter 2, article X. Properties rezoned as "H" retain their underlying original zoning requirements as far as parking, setbacks, yard areas, etc., as long as they are not in conflict with the preservation of the historic structure or site.
