94 FEES AND DEPOSITS
§ 9-94.010 Purpose and intent.
To provide information on application fees.

§ 9-94.020 Authority.
Government Code Section 65909.5 grants local government agencies the authority to charge fees for the cost(s) of processing development applications. Fee amounts are limited to the estimated reasonable cost of providing the service for which the fee is charged.

§ 9-94.030 Adoption of fees.
The city has adopted planning, building and safety and engineering fees by resolution following a public hearing. Changes to fees or service costs are made periodically in the same manner as originally adopted.

§ 9-94.040 Payment required.
No application shall be considered complete for acceptance and processing unless required fees are paid in full.

§ 9-94.050 Refund policy.
A refund policy, for development fee(s) and deposits collected by the city is contained in the resolution by which the fees were adopted.

§ 9-94.060 Fee waivers.
The City Manager may grant a waiver or reduction in fee(s)/deposit, established by City Council resolution. Waivers or reductions may be granted only for special events sponsored by nonprofit organizations and other philanthropic organizations conducting events that benefit the citizens of Laguna Hills.
