ARTICLE 30
01 GENERAL PROVISIONS
§ 30.01.001 Short title.
This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the zoning ordinance of the City of Lakeway, Texas.

§ 30.01.002 Purpose.
The provisions of this chapter are deemed to be necessary for the purpose of promoting the public health, safety, morals, or general welfare and protecting the property of the residents of the City of Lakeway, Texas.

§ 30.01.003 Adoption of regulations.
A reference in this chapter to the adoption of a zoning regulation or a zoning district boundary includes the amendment, repeal, or other change of a regulation or boundary.

§ 30.01.004 Definitions.
For the purposes of this chapter, the definitions of terms, phrases, words, and their derivations shall have the meaning and effect ascribed to them in section 22.02.001. Words used in this chapter and not defined in section 22.02.001 shall have their ordinarily accepted meaning.
