This chapter shall be known, cited and referred to as the "Town of Ledgeview Zoning Ordinance, Brown County, Wisconsin."

The Town Board of the Town of Ledgeview has the specific authority, power and duties pursuant to §§ 60.62, 61.35 and 62.23, Wis. Stats., pursuant to the specific statutory sections noted in this chapter, and by its adoption of village powers under § 60.10, Wis. Stats., to zone certain areas in the Town of Ledgeview and to regulate, prohibit and restrict construction, alteration, erection and enlargement of certain structures and buildings in the Town of Ledgeview, and to regulate and control certain uses, activities, businesses and operations in the Town of Ledgeview.

The Town Board of the Town of Ledgeview has, by adoption of this chapter, confirmed the specific statutory authority, powers and duties noted in the specific sections of this chapter and has established, by these sections and this chapter, the specific areas and the regulations and controlling of certain uses, activities, businesses and operations in the Town of Ledgeview.
