Examine, or cause to be examined, all buildings, structures, signs and/or land or portions thereof for which an application has been filed for the erection, construction, alteration, repair, extension, replacement and/or use of same before issuing any permit. Thereafter, he/she may make such inspections as necessary during the completion of work for which a permit has been issued to determine that the work is progressing in compliance with the information provided on the permit application and with all applicable laws and Ordinances of the Borough. Upon completion of the building, structure, sign and/or change, a final inspection shall be made. The Zoning Officer may also make inspections as otherwise necessary to fulfill her/his duties. In order to make inspections, the Zoning Officer shall have the power to enter upon any property at any reasonable hour in the course of his/her duties. Should any property owner, lessee or other person prevent access to the property in question, the Zoning Officer shall have the authority, with the approval of the Borough Manager, to obtain a search warrant for said property.
