In case any building, structure or land is, or is proposed to be, erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted, maintained or used in violation of this chapter, the governing body, or with their approval the Zoning Officer, in addition to other remedies, may institute in the name of the Borough any appropriate action or proceedings to prevent, restrain, correct or abate such building, structure or use in or about such premises, or any act, conduct, or business constituting a violation.
