SECONDARY OPEN SPACE DISTRICT
The OS-2 secondary open space district regulations are included in the zoning ordinance to achieve the following purposes:
(a) To set aside and protect those areas where open space is generated as a byproduct of another use;
(b) To encourage the development of associated open space;
(c) To protect areas important for production of resources;
(d) To meet the criteria set forth in the open space and conservation element of the general plan. (Ord. 946 § 2 (part), 1981).
Land may be used in the OS-2 district for secondary open space uses as provided in the open space use table, Section 18.54.030. (Ord. 946 § 2 (part), 1981).
Those uses so indicated in the open space use table, Section 18.54.030, are permitted in the OS-2 district subject to the issuance of a conditional use permit by the planning commission. (Ord. 1149 § 77, 1992: Ord. 1112 § 67, 1991; Ord. 946 § 2 (part), 1981).
The parking requirements for uses permitted in the OS-2 district are set forth in Chapter 18.60. (Ord. 946 § 2 (part), 1981).
The tree removal equipment in an OS-2 district is as follows: Removal of live trees and dead wood shall be allowed upon granting of a tree removal permit by the city services department. (Ord. 1299 § 23, 2005: Ord. 946 § 2 (part), 1981).
