Districts Definition Examples of Basic
Intent and Uses
PEH Park, Education and Health Parks, education, public and private schools, hospitals, office buildings. Private day care centers, clinics, cemeteries.
PW Public Works Utilities, maintenance facilities, public garages, fire stations. Radio, TV, transmitting tower, waste disposal treatments.
R-1 One-Family Residential Low-density single-family dwellings, excluding manufactured homes. Churches.
R-2 One-Family Residential Medium density single-family dwellings, excluding manufactured homes. Churches.
R-3 One- and Two-Family Residential Medium density one- and two-family dwellings, excluding manufactured homes. Churches and health care facilities.
R-4 Multiple-Unit Residential Medium-high density residential, multiple-family units. Manufactured home parks, churches, day care, and health care.
R-5M One-Family Residential Medium density single-family dwellings Churches, home occupations, and parks and playgrounds (conditional use approved by the ZAB).
R-O Residential-Professional Offices Single-family dwellings and professional offices, excluding manufactured homes. Residences, professional offices.
CR Neighborhood and General Commercial Convenience stores and service stations. Retail, wholesale, storage and services. Auto service stations. Off-site signs, repair garages.
HOC Highway Oriented Commercial Highway oriented establishments. Off-site signs, repair garages.
HOC-1-A Highway Oriented Commercial Highway oriented with restrictions. Alcohol sales incidental. Restriction on repair facilities.
CBD Central Business District Shops, services, and offices serving regional trade area. Downtown core area. Drive-in services.
LI Light Industrial Limited manufacturing, warehouses, repair garages, industrial parks. CR uses.
HI Heavy Industrial General manufacturing, large space users. LI uses. CR uses. Junk, salvage yards.
