Within the City of Morrow there exists land which is subject to periodic flooding and inundation. Development of these lands is regulated by provisions contained in the flood damage prevention ordinance which is made a part of the zoning ordinance of the City of Morrow by reference.

The flood hazard boundary maps (FHBM) and the flood insurance rate maps (FIRM) are also made part of the zoning ordinance of Morrow by reference and shall be used to determine the location and extent of flood prone areas. These maps are located at City Hall.
