This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Town of New Castle Zoning Ordinance."

Should any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause, provision or phrase of this chapter be declared by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect any other portion of this chapter. The Town Board hereby declares that it would have adopted every section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause, provision and phrase of this chapter regardless of the fact that any other section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause, provision or phrase was declared unconstitutional or invalid.

This chapter, together with the Zoning Map and schedules of regulations incorporated herein and made a part of this chapter, shall take effect 10 days after its publication and posting as required by § 265 of the Town Law.

The ordinance entitled "Zoning Ordinance of the Town of New Castle," effective May 11, 1945, including all amendments to said ordinance, are hereby repealed as of the effective date of this chapter.
