The purpose of the natural open space zone (NOS) is to preserve and protect areas of open space and exert a greater level of control over any potential developments of existing natural open space areas. (Ord. 01-05, 4-3-2001)

Uses in the natural open space zone are shown below. If a use is not listed, it is not allowed. (Ord. 01-05, 4-3-2001)

   Agricultural uses.

   Educational demonstration project.

   Natural open space and conservation areas.

   Natural preserves.

   Park.

   Pedestrian pathways and trails.

   Wetlands bank. (Ord. 01-05, 4-3-2001)

   Public or private recreational facilities.

   Public or private utility buildings and structures.

   Public or private utility transmission wires, lines, pipes and poles (excluding cellular towers).

   Public wastewater treatment plant.

   A.   Minimum lot area: Ten thousand (10,000) square feet.

   B.   Minimum lot width: Fifty feet (50'). (Ord. 01-05, 4-3-2001)

Building height shall be limited to thirty five feet (35'); provided, that for each foot of height in excess of twenty feet (20'), each required yard and landscaped yard shall be increased one foot (1'). (Ord. 01-05, 4-3-2001)

   A.   Front yard: Thirty feet (30').

   B.   Corner side yard: Thirty feet (30').

   C.   Interior side yard: Twenty feet (20').
