This district is intended to correspond to the Open Space Act of the state which provides certain tax relief to properties which are designated by the city council as open space properties. The open space zoning district shall be upon all such designated properties and shall dissolve if the open space designation is removed. There shall be no development or subdivision of lands in the open space district except minor structures such as fences, access roads, public restrooms and the like. See Chapter 84.34 RCW.
