Areas where permitted.
(a)
Manufactured homes and modular homes with or without a permanent foundation shall not be permitted outside of a manufactured home park without prior approval from the city council upon recommendation of the planning and zoning commission.
(b)
Mobile homes with or without a permanent foundation are not permitted outside of a manufactured home park.
(c)
Mobile homes of any installation or manufactured or modular homes not placed upon a permanent foundation, legally placed outside an approved manufactured home park and inhabited prior to the passage of the ordinance from which this regulation is derived. Should that mobile home or manufactured home be demolished or removed, in order to continue such use, another mobile or manufactured home must be replaced within 30 days from the removal date of the preexisting home. Any replacement home must be dated as manufactured after 1974 and bear the seal, device, label or insignia issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and Development or its agent, to be displayed on the exterior of the mobile home or manufactured home to evidence compliance with the National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974, 42 USC 5401 et seq.
(d)
Any replacement mobile or manufactured home within a manufactured home park must be dated as manufactured after 1974 and bear the seal, device, label or insignia issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and Development or its agent, to be displayed on the exterior of the mobile home or manufactured home to evidence compliance with the National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974, 42 USC 5401 et seq.
