A.   Administration And Enforcement Official: This title shall be administered and enforced by the Zoning Administrator who is appointed by the City Council. The Zoning Administrator may institute, in the name of the City, any appropriate actions or proceedings against a violator as provided by statute, ordinance, or code.

   B.   Violations: If the provisions of this title are being violated, the City shall notify, in writing, the person responsible for such violation, indicating the nature of the violation and ordering the action necessary to correct it. The City shall order the discontinuance of illegal use of land, buildings or structures; removal of illegal buildings or structures or of additions, alterations or structural changes thereto; discontinuance of any illegal work being done; or shall take any other action authorized by this chapter to ensure compliance with or to prevent violation of its provisions. Any person who violates any of the provisions of this title shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not more than the maximum penalty for a misdemeanor prescribed under State law. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. (Prior Code § 20-10-2)
