CHAPTER 155
MUNICIPAL SIGNS
§ 155.01 MUNICIPAL SIGN SPECIFICATIONS FOR MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS.
The town shall have a uniform signage for municipal signs identifying town buildings and services.
(A) The raised town seal shall be at the top of all signs immediately over the address.
(B) The background color for the sign shall be dark green.
(C) The letters of the sign shall be engraved gold leaf.
(D) If the sign is secured by posts, they shall be white and any lighting shall be indirect lighting.
(E) The size and shape of the shall be in accordance with the specifications in the diagram that is located in Appendix A
. The signs shall be the same size, except that the Board of Selectmen may vary the overall size according to the location of the sign. If the size varies, all other dimensions shall remain in proportion.

APPENDIX A: SAMPLE SIGN
Town Hall letters are four inches high
All other lettering is three and one-half inches high
