[Ord. 593, 4/8/1986]
Buildings and establishments operated as adult uses as defined by this chapter are determined to be detrimental and harmful to the health, safety, and general welfare of a community. Noted to promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the residents of the Borough of Oxford, this Part is intended to restrict adult uses to nonresidential, nonbusiness, and noncommercial areas of the Borough of Oxford and otherwise regulate their operation. Wherever the operational characteristics of adult uses increase the deleterious impact on a community when such uses are concentrated, this Part is intended to promote the health, safety, and general welfare and good order of the residents of the Borough of Oxford by regulating the concentration of such use to minimize the deleterious effect on the aesthetics and economics of the areas in which these uses are located.
