165.03 ESTABLISHMENT

OF DISTRICTS; OFFICIAL ZONING MAP.

The City is hereby divided into districts, designated as follows:
A-1   Agricultural
R-1   Single Family Residential
R-2   Multi-Family Residential
C-1   Highway Commercial
C-2   Central Business District
C-3   Highway Professional
M-1   Light Industrial
M-2   Heavy Industrial
The locations and boundaries of these districts are shown on the Official Zoning Map which, together with all explanatory matter thereon, is hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter. The Official Zoning Map shall be identified by the signature of the Mayor, attested by the City Clerk, and bearing the Seal of the City under the following statement: This is to certify that this is the Official Zoning Map referred to in Ordinance No. 58-2023 of the City of Palo, Iowa, passed June 19, 2023. The Official Zoning Map, or a true copy of the same, shall be on file in the office of the City Clerk and shall be final authority as to the correct zoning status of the land, water areas, buildings, and other structures in the City.
