Legal status provisions.
(a)
Conformance and conflict with other laws.
(1)
Designation of zoning districts shall not preclude the need to comply with land use designations shown on the FLUM and with all other appropriate rules, regulations, statutes, or ordinances affecting land or building use and development.
(2)
Wherever the requirements of this chapter are at variance with the requirements of any other lawfully adopted statutes, rules, regulations, ordinances, the most restrictive, or that imposing higher standards, shall govern.
(b)
Severability and validity. Each phrase, sentence, paragraph, section, or other provision of this chapter is severable from all other such phrases, sentences, paragraphs, sections, and provisions. Should any phrase, sentence, paragraph, section, or provision of this chapter be declared by the courts to be unconstitutional or invalid, such declaration shall not affect any other portion or provision of this chapter.
(c)
Effective date. This chapter shall take effect and be in force immediately upon the passage as provided by law.
