ARTICLE XXVI

Sexually Oriented Businesses

§ 690-150 Proximity.

A sexually oriented adult business shall not be located within 600 feet of a zoning district that allows residential uses.

A sexually oriented adult business shall not be located within 600 feet of another sexually oriented adult business.

A sexually oriented adult business shall not be located within 600 feet of the following:

Public library;

Public playground or park;

Educational facility (K through 12), including its grounds;

A state-licensed family day-care home, group day-care home or day-care center;

A worship facility; and

Any youth-oriented establishment.

§ 690-151 Distance measurements.

For purposes of this section, specified distances shall be measured in a straight line, without regard to intervening structures or streets, from the property line of the sexually oriented adult business establishment to the property boundary line of the other specified use or zoning district.

§ 690-152 Building entrances and windows.

All building openings, entries and windows shall be located, covered or screened in such a manner as to prevent the interior of such premises from being viewed from the outside of the business establishment.
