Provide a means for residents, particularly seniors, single parents, and families with grown children, to remain in their homes and neighborhoods, and obtain extra income, security, companionship, and services.

No more than 25% of the rear yard and side yard may be occupied by a detached ADU. For ADUs that cannot comply with Section 17.25.020(C), no more than 35% of the rear and side yard may be occupied by a detached ADU.
