ARTICLE XI

Parks and Open Space District

§ 213-61 Purposes.

The purposes of this district are to preserve the public open space in the Borough and to provide for specific opportunities for active and passive recreational use. The district is also designed to permit the use of the property for municipal use by the Borough of Ridley Park.

§ 213-62 Uses permitted by right.

Land, buildings, or premises shall be used by right for only one or more of the following uses:
A. 
Passive recreational uses.
B. 
Playgrounds.
C. 
Outdoor educational facilities (no structures), such as nature trails and natural amphitheaters.
D. 
Picnic areas.

§ 213-63 Conditional uses.

The following uses are permitted by conditional use only, subject to the applicable provisions of Article XVIII:
A. 
Municipal property, buildings, or uses.
B. 
Playfields.
C. 
Tennis courts.

§ 213-64 Accessory uses and structures.

The following uses are permitted as accessory uses incidental to the uses permitted by right:
A. 
Off-street parking in accordance with Article XIV of this chapter.
B. 
Signs in accordance with Article XV of this chapter.

§ 213-65 Area and bulk regulations.
