The Board of Adjustment may, by special permit, after public hearing and advertised as provided in Article XVIII and subject to such protective restrictions that it deems necessary, authorize the location, construction, extension or structural alteration of any of the following buildings or uses, or an increase in height, in any district from which they are prohibited or limited by this Ordinance.
SECTION 91 SPECIAL USES PERMITTED.
91.01. Any public building erected and used by any department of a municipal, county, state or federal government.
91.02. Cemetery or mausoleum.
91.03. Airport, landing field, or landing strip.
91.04. Greenhouses, provided that any such structures shall not be less than one hundred (100) feet from all property lines.
91.05. Nursery and truck gardens.
91.06. Roadside stands, commerciali amusement or recreational developments for temporary or seasonal periods.
91.07. Extraction of gravel, sand or other raw materials.
91.08. Parking lots on land not more than three hundred (300) feet from the boundary of any commercial, business or industrial district, under such conditions as will protect the character of surrounding property.
91.09. Areas for the dumping or disposal of trash or garbage.
91.10. Radio/TV towers and radio/TV broadcasting stations.
91.11. Exhibitions and fairgrounds.
91.12. Any use that is not a nuisance per se and which is generally similar to the uses permitted in the district in which such use is located by special permit.
