ARTICLE I

Title, Purpose and Authority

§ 510-1 Short title.

This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Shamokin Zoning Ordinance."

§ 510-2 Legislative purpose, authority.

This chapter is adopted by virtue of the authority contained in the Third Class City Code, as amended,[1] for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, morals and the general welfare of the City of Shamokin.
