This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Shamokin Zoning Ordinance."

This chapter is adopted by virtue of the authority contained in the Third Class City Code, as amended,[1] for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, morals and the general welfare of the City of Shamokin.
