This chapter shall be known, cited, and referred to as the "Village of Sherwood Zoning Ordinance."

This chapter is adopted pursuant to the authority granted to the Village by the Wisconsin Statutes, including but not limited to §§ 61.35 and 62.23.

This chapter is adopted for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, morals or the general welfare of the community through the comprehensive regulation of land use within the Village.
