It is the purpose of this district to ensure the continuation of lands set aside for park and recreational purposes for the enjoyment of all the Borough residents and that such lands will not be used for any other purposes.

In any recreation district, land, buildings or premises shall be used for any one or more of the following:

There shall be no minimum area and bulk regulations applicable in this district for outdoor recreational uses or parks, but all buildings shall conform to the lot and bulk regulations of B1 Business District, see § 162-167.
