§ 475-9 Interpretation of boundaries.

§ 475-10 District boundaries.

Where uncertainty exists as to boundaries of any district as shown on the Zoning Map, the following guidelines shall apply in determining the location of such boundary:
A.
District boundary lines are intended to follow or parallel the center line of streets, streams and railroad; and lot or property lines as they exist on a recorded deed or plan in the County Recorder of Deeds office at the time of adoption of this chapter, unless such district boundary lines are fixed by dimensions as shown on the Zoning Map.
B.
Where a district boundary line is not fixed by dimensions, and where it approximately follows lot lines, and where it does not scale more than 10 feet therefrom, such lot lines shall be construed to be such boundaries unless specifically shown otherwise.

If uncertainty exists as to the boundary of any district shown on the Zoning Map, the Borough Engineer shall determine the location of such boundary, paid for by the property owner questioning or contesting the boundary location.
