ARTICLE XVII
C-3 COMMERCIAL RECREATION DISTRICT
Sec. 17.01.- Statement of purpose.
The C-3 district as established in this article is intended to provide areas for recreational facilities developed as commercial ventures.

Sec. 17.02. - Permitted uses.
The following uses are permitted in the C-3 district:
A.
Archery ranges.
B.
Amusement parks.
C.
Private recreation facility.
D.
Commercial recreation facility.
E.
Commercial swimming pools, tennis courts and the like.
F.
Educational facilities such as zoos and botanical gardens.
G.
Fairgrounds.
H.
Marinas.
I.
Recreational fish ponds.
J.
Reservoirs.
K.
Uses permitted in C-1 and C-2 districts.

Sec. 17.03. - Conditional uses.
A conditional use permit may be issued pursuant to articles XXVI and XXVII of this appendix for the following uses in the C-3 district:
A.
Radio, cellular phone or similar transmission and receiving towers.
B.
Recreation vehicle park.
C.
Race tracks and drag strips.
