This article is established to present the legal status of this chapter and to resolve differences and conflicts between this chapter and other ordinances.

Whenever the regulations of this chapter require a greater width or size of yards, or impose other more restrictive standards than are required in or under any other statute, the requirements of this chapter shall govern. Whenever the provisions of any other statute require more restrictive standards than are required by this chapter, the provisions of such statute shall govern. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this chapter are herewith repealed.
