(a) A solid fence, no less than seven feet and no more than eight feet in height shall be erected so as to screen the mini-storage building from any public right-of-way. The fence shall be constructed of approved materials as defined in section 22-211. Any portion of any mini-storage building which is more than 14 feet aboveground shall be required to meet the architectural standards set forth at section 22-211.
(b) A six-foot landscaped perimeter adjacent to the fence required in subsection (a) of this section, but no farther away from the fence than ten feet, shall be required in order to provide an additional buffer. The landscaped perimeter shall meet the following material requirements:
(1) Tree count. The total tree requirement within the perimeter landscape areas shall be determined by using a ratio of one tree for each 25 linear feet of required landscape perimeter area or major portion thereof, with no less than 75 percent of said trees being shade trees. This provision is not intended to require trees to be equally spaced 25 feet apart. Creative design and spacing is encouraged. All trees shall be provided at least 100 square feet of planting area each.
(2) Ground cover. Grass or other ground cover shall be placed on all areas within the perimeter landscape area not occupied by other landscape materials or permitted accessways. A list of approved plant material for ground cover shall be maintained by the city planning department.

Natural, manmade, raw, secondary, or partially completed materials may be used. Products may be finished or semi-finished and are generally made for the wholesale market, for transfer to other plants, or to order for firms or consumers.
(a) The operations shall not emit or produce smoke, noise, odor, dust, vibration or fumes except in M & M-1 zoning districts; and
(b) Goods may be displayed or sold on-site (wholesale and/or retail; and
(c) All supplies, good, etc., shall be maintained inside the facility only, except in M & M-1 zoning districts.
