Tropic City Zoning Code

Pursuant to the S.3042 Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018, Tropic Town elects to prohibit all cannabis farms and establishments within its boundaries, with the exception of hemp cultivation for medicinal use. For the purpose of this Ordinance, “hemp” shall be defined as cannabis with less than 0.3% Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

A person or business violating this ordinance shall be punished in accordance with UCA 58-37-8, unless different penalty is expressly provided in this ordinance.

If any section of this ordinance should for any reason be found invalid, by a court or competent jurisdiction, the remaining sections nevertheless be carried into effect.

All prior existing ordinances adopted by the Tropic Town Council inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are, to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency, hereby expressly repealed.
