This Ordinance, including the Official Zoning Map of Union Point, Georgia approved April 13, 1993, as amended, may be amended from time to time by the mayor and council, but no rezoning or amendment shall become effective unless it shall have been proposed by or shall have first submitted to the Union Point mayor and council for review pursuant to the polices and procedures to govern the calling and conducting of a zoning hearing, as adopted by the Union Point mayor and council.

All requests for amendment or rezoning shall be heard subject to the hereinbelow policies and procedures to govern the calling and conducting of a zoning hearing.
