A.

Permitted Uses. Permitted Uses are indicated by the letter P in Table 5-1 (Use Table). Such Uses are permitted by right in corresponding Districts as designated in the Use Table, provided they comply with all other applicable provisions of this Ordinance.

B.

Conditional Uses. Conditional Uses are indicated by the letter C in Table 5-1 (Use Table). Such Uses require a Conditional Use Permit. Conditional Uses may be approved in corresponding Districts as designated in the Use Table, following the procedures of Section 9-7 (Conditional Uses), provided they comply with all other applicable provisions of this Ordinance.

C.

Administrative Uses. Uses subject to administrative approval are indicated by the letter A in Table 5-1 (Use Table). Such Uses shall be reviewed and approved by the City Officials through the procedure described in Section 9-5 (Administrative Uses).

D.

Prohibited Uses.

1.

Any Use listed in the Table 5-1 (Use Table) that is not designated as a Permitted, Conditional, or Administrative Use for a particular District shall be prohibited in that District.

2.

Any Use that is not specifically authorized by Table 5-1 (Use Table) shall be prohibited in all Districts unless:

a.

City Officials determine that the Use is sufficiently similar as a listed Use; or

b.

The City Council approves an Ordinance Text Amendment, following the procedure outlined in Section 9-10 (Ordinance Text Amendments), to authorize the Use.
