The purpose of the building coverage limitations is to ensure that the building coverage of each site is compatible with the types of uses allowed in each district and to avoid overcrowding of sites with buildings.

Building coverage shall be measured as the total horizontal area of all buildings and roofed or covered spaces expressed as a percent of total lot area. The outer two feet of roof overhangs will not be counted as building coverage.
