ARTICLE VII
Parking 1
§ 530-63 Residential uses.

A.
One- and two-family residential use.
(1)
For each newly constructed dwelling unit on any one-family or two-family residential lot, there shall be provided two parking spaces per unit, directly accessible to the street, including garaging of one passenger vehicle per unit.
(2)
On-site parking of more than two vehicles juxtaposed to one another between the building and the front lot line is hereby prohibited. Parking surfaces for vehicles shall be limited to paved and/or other kinds of stone surfaces, which such surfaces combined shall not exceed 30% of the total square footage of the required front yard. This subsection is intended to apply to all one- and two-family residential dwelling units.
(3)
The following criteria shall apply to existing one- and/or two-family dwellings:

(a)
The demolition of existing detached garages shall be permitted so long as the subject premises contains two on-site parking spaces in the case of a one-family dwelling and four on-site parking spaces in the case of a two-family dwelling.
(b)
The replacement and/or renovation of existing detached garages shall be permitted, except that the existing side yard and rear yard shall be maintained and so long as such renovation and/or replacement garage shall not exceed 600 square feet of building space.
(c)
Garages attached to existing dwellings may be converted to livable and/or habitable space, provided that the following shall be required:

Multifamily residential use. Each dwelling unit shall be required to supply a minimum of two parking spaces. A five-room dwelling unit shall supply at least three parking spaces, and a studio dwelling unit shall supply at least one parking space. Senior citizens housing shall provide one space per each dwelling unit.
§ 530-64 Commercial vehicles.

A.
In all residential zones, the following commercial vehicles shall not be parked at any time during the day or night except in enclosed garages:
(1)
Unregistered motor vehicles of any type or design.
(2)
Buses.
(3)
Trucks, tractors and other vehicles designed and used primarily for drawing other vehicles or trailers and not so constructed as to carry a load other than as part of the weight of the vehicle so drawn.
(4)
Box trucks, straight jobs, flatbed trucks, and all other trucks over 8,000 pounds gross weight.
(5)
Trailers of all types.
(6)
Vehicles altered for camper, recreational, mobile shop, peddler or other similar use.
(7)
Construction equipment of all types.
B.
The tenant or owner of residential property may park one commercial vehicle on the driveway of that property or in residential parking lots, provided that the vehicle complies with the following:
(1)
Vehicle does not exceed four tires.
(3)
It is used by a resident of the premises in conjunction with his employment for the purpose of commuting to and from his place of employment, job assignments or job location.
(4)
All open vehicles covered by this subsection shall be free of debris between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following days: Monday through Friday, and at all times on Saturday and Sunday. "Debris" shall mean materials such as paper boxes, crates, tin cans, bottles, household sweepings, household receptacles and utensils, lawn cuttings, hedge trimmings, leaves, brush, garden rubbish, any household waste, and other refuse and rubbish of whatsoever kind or description, including used building materials, fixtures and sweepings from construction or destruction.[2]
C.
Snowplows. A resident may have attached to a personal vehicle one snowplow from the period of November to the following March. Said snowplow must be parked in an enclosed garage if the combined weight of truck and plow is over 8,000 pounds GVWR. If weight is under 8,000 pounds, the snowplow must be parked in driveway with plow end facing rear of property line.[3]
