INTERNAL REVIEW

BOARD

154.120: CREATION AND MEMBERSHIP:

   A.   There is hereby created an Internal Review Board (IRB) to provide a regular forum for sharing information concerning land usage, site plans, commercial and residential development, and other issues, among the various departments of the City, and between applicants and City staff.
   B.   The purpose of the IRB is to assure that the ordinances and standards of the City are met and that the continued development within the City is orderly and consistent.
   C.   The members of the IRB shall be appointed by the City Manager from among City staff and shall be of such number as the City Manager shall determine, in the City Manager’s sole discretion. (Ord. 1714, 2-22-2022)

154.121: DUTIES:

   A.   The Code Enforcement Officer for the City shall have the discretion to refer any issue concerning site plans, proposed land usage requests, requested building and construction materials and types, to the IRB for review and recommendation.
   B.   The IRB shall be responsible for receiving from the Code Enforcement Officer and reviewing site plans, proposed land usage requests, building and construction materials and types and providing a report to the Code Enforcement Officer with findings and recommendations.
   C.   The IRB shall have the ability to request additional information and/or materials from the applicant and to request input from any additional City staff to assist in the review and recommendation. (Ord. 1714, 2-22-2022)

154.999: PENALTY:

   A.   Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter for which no specific penalty is provided shall be subject to the terms of section 10.99 of this code.
   B.   Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter or fails to comply therewith or with any of the requirements thereof, shall be guilty of an offense and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). Each day upon which a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
   C.   In addition to the remedies provided in section 154.044 of this chapter, a violation of that section shall be deemed a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine of no more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. (2001 Code § 154.999)
