The state park zone is intended to designate state-owned parkland and provide for its future management in the interest of both residents and visitors. In the S-P zone, the following regulations shall apply.

§ 9.32.020 Permitted uses.
In an S-P zone, the following uses and their accessory uses are permitted subject to the provisions of Chapters 9.44, 9.48 and 9.52 where applicable:
Maintenance of existing state park facilities. Maintenance shall include, but not be limited to: beach access improvements, such as railings or steps/ramps, upkeep of park vegetation, upkeep of restroom facilities, etc.;
Improvements which do not significantly alter the existing park use as a day-use facility, such as repair and replacement of existing facilities, general maintenance and minor betterment.

§ 9.32.030 Conditional uses.
In an S-P zone, the following uses and their accessory uses may be permitted subject to the provisions of Chapters 9.44, 9.48, 9.52 and 9.72 where applicable:
Any proposed expansion of a currently existing state park.

Upon improvement of restroom facilities, flush toilets shall be installed.
