A Certificate of Occupancy shall be required for any of the following:
(a)
Occupancy and use of a building hereafter erected or enlarged.
(b)
Change in use of an existing building to a different use.
(c)
Occupancy and use of vacant land except for the raising of crops.
(d)
Any change in nonconforming use.
(e)
After submitting plans and specifications to the Building Inspector and upon issuance of a building permit, the builders will have complied with this Ordinance for all purposes, provided said building is constructed in accordance with said plans and specifications.
(f)
No such occupancy, use or change of use shall take place until a Certificate of Occupancy has been issued by the Augusta Planning and Development Department.
