SECTION 16

MF-1, MULTIFAMILY ONE DISTRICT

§ 16.1 INTENT.

The MF-1, Multifamily One District, provides for a housing density of sixteen (16) dwelling units per acre, allowing for maximum usable open space areas for communal use and having easy access to all residents. The MF-1, Multifamily One District shall have frontage and direct access to major thoroughfares or collectors only, with no vehicular access to minor residential streets. As an option for residents of the city, the MF-1, Multifamily One District intends to provide high quality, garden-like residential appearance, interconnected open spaces, and well-landscaped parking areas with internal circulation. When appropriate, the interconnected open spaces of the zoning district shall have access to parks, trails, and other open public areas.

§ 16.2 PERMITTED USES.

See permitted use schedule in Section 4.10 of this ordinance. NOTE: (S) indicates that a specific use permit must be issued in accordance with the requirements of Section 32 of this ordinance.

§ 16.4 ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS.

A. 
All parking spaces, walkways and internal vehicular circulation shall be asphalt or concrete surfaces.

§ 16.5 LANDSCAPING.

Landscaping shall be in accordance with Section 29 of this ordinance.
