12-18-2: APPENDIX B; ACCESS DRIVEWAYS:

   DESIGN STANDARDS FOR ACCESS DRIVEWAYS
      1.   Width Of Driveways (Measured at the lot line adjoining a street):
         a.   Residential Uses: Not less than nine feet (9') wide, and not more than twenty two feet (22') wide.
         b.   Nonresidential Uses:
            (1)   Not less than fourteen feet (14') wide, or not more than twenty feet (20') wide for a one-way driveway.
            (2)   Not less than twenty feet (20') wide for a two-way driveway when twenty (20) or less parking spaces are being served.
            (3)   Not less than twenty four feet (24') wide for a two-way driveway when more than twenty (20) parking spaces or two (2) or more loading spaces are being served.
            (4)   Automotive service stations not less than twenty four feet (24') wide, measured perpendicular to the centerline of such driveway.
            (5)   In any case not more than thirty five feet (35') wide.
      2.   Radius Connecting Street Pavement Edge And Driveway Edges:
         a.   Residential Uses: Not less than five feet (5').
         b.   Nonresidential Uses:
            (1)   Not less than fifteen feet (15') at the intersection of a driveway and a street classified as major street or collector.
            (2)   Not less than eight feet (8') at the intersection of a driveway and a street not classified as a major street or collector.
            (3)   For driveways intersecting street pavement edge with an angle less than ninety degrees (90°). See item 3-b.
      3.   Angle At Intersection Of A Driveway And A Street:
         a.   An acute angle formed at the intersection of driveway and street pavement edges shall not be less than sixty degrees (60°).
         b.   Any angle at the intersection of driveway edge and street pavement edge that is less than ninety degrees (90°) shall modify the radius of the curb as follows:

      4.   Spacing Between Separate Driveway Entrances On A Lot (Measured between centerlines of 2 driveways, and at the front lot line or side lot line adjoining a street):
         a.   Not less than eighty feet (80') on a street classified as major street.
         b.   Not less than sixty feet (60') on a street classified as collector street, except in residential district driveways serving one- or two-family dwellings, not less than twenty feet (20').
         c.   Not less than forty feet (40') on a street not classified as major or collector street, except in residential district driveways serving one- or two-family dwellings, not less than twenty feet (20').
      5.   On Corner Lots, Spacing Between Driveway Entrance And Right Of Way Line Of An Adjacent Intersecting Street (Measured from the nearest edge of the driveway pavement at its intersection with the street right of way line to the nearest right of way line of an adjacent intersecting street):
         a.   On streets not classified as major or collector streets, not less than eight feet (8') to an adjacent intersecting major or collector street.
         b.   On streets classified as major or collector streets, not less than fifteen feet (15') to an adjacent intersecting street not classified as major or collector street. (2005 Zoning Code)
