Civil Infractions. As provided in BMC § 17.02.030(B), no use or structure shall be established, expanded, constructed, altered, moved, maintained, or otherwise changed except in conformance with this title. As established in RCW 7.80.010(5) a person or business that violates the requirements of this title shall be guilty of a civil violation. As established in RCW 7.80.010(5), the city has adopted provisions for addressing violations pursuant to Chapter 2.54 BMC.

Gross Misdemeanor Violations. As established in RCW 58.17.300, any person, firm, corporation or association or any agent of any person, firm, corporation, or association who violates the provisions of this title, Division 4, Chapters 17.50 through 17.74 BMC, and/or Chapter 58.17 RCW et seq. relating to the sale, offer for sale, lease, or transfer of any lot, tract or parcel of land shall be guilty of a gross misdemeanor. Each sale, offer for sale, lease, or transfer of each separate lot, tract or parcel of land in violation of any provisions of this title shall be deemed a separate and distinct violation.
